An Important note to all investors. Is your insurance coverage adequate? Many investors do not realize the coverage that hey have and what is covered by that policy. What type of coverage is there? Does it cover theft and vandalism? If the building is vacant is there still coverage? If so for how long? Some insurances offer a percentage coverage if the building goes vacant. Others drop coverage after 30 days. Some policies cover freeze damage. There are many additional insurances that can really prove beneficial for your investment. Our suggestion is that everyone check their policies and with their agents to see what specific type of coverage they have and the benefits of increasing coverage. Costs are more affordable then one may expect.
